For the second year, MEMS will partner with Music for Mankind to collect food items for the Manchester Food Cupboard. Our food drive has been extended until 2 p.m. on Friday, February 12th.Our total last year was 880 items in one week and this year we would like to raise our goal to 900 food items, which will be donated to the Manchester Food Cupboard. We will be tracking the total number of items

The Price Chopper Tools for Schools program ends on February 13th. Since the beginning of this program 58,974 points have been credited to the MEMS Price Chopper Tools for Schools account!! Houses for Haiti Still Available to Purchase

We raised over $500 during Open House....WOW! Thank you to all for your generous support......but there are still "Houses for Haiti" pins available. MEMS students have created 'house' pins which you can purchase for $5.00 each with the proceeds going to the Red Cross relief efforts for Haiti. (These little houses look even better in person!)

Girls on the Run and Girls on Track Registration at Open House

During Open House on February 4th, girls in grades 3-5 who are interested in participating in the Girls on the Run program and girls in grades 6-8 who are interested in participating in the Girls on Track program will find registration materials outside of Ms. Beeman's Spanish classroom.From 6-6:30, you may watch a DVD and see pictures from last year in Ms. Beeman's room to learn more about this fun

Come out and support the BBA Booster Club at a special Dollar Skate and bake sale at Riley Rink on Sunday, Feb. 28 from 1:45-3:45 p.m. Ice time is sponsored by The Perfect Wife Restaurant and Spiral Press Cafe.Another great reason to come out is to be part of the MEMS Sport-a-Thon, a full weekend of winter fun with skiing, snowboarding, skating and tubing, where participants solicit sponsors to help
